Joshua Anderson

Repair Technician

My music journey began as young as 6 years old when my dad was playing Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture while we were driving to school - he loved the cannons firing the most. From there on I knew music had a special place in my heart. Being the youngest of four, I got to see my three older sisters enter band and choose their own instruments one by one. Once I got to sixth grade, I was finally able to choose my own, the French Horn. Throughout high school, I had the opportunity to learn many different instruments: saxophone, string bass, bassoon, and many more!

Since 2020, I have been working in the music business industry. In fact, I would end up managing the very store I went to as a child! From there I was able to expand my knowledge in the sale of band instruments, understand the ins and outs of rental contracts, and work with schools on purchase orders and emergency repairs.

Having apprenticed under many experienced technicians, I am now ready to take on my own venture by creating Anderson Repair Tech. Started in 2025, we hope to be the premier band instrument repair service in the Eastern Panhandle!
